I have had such a great day. Got up at 5 to go to Bushy Park to photograph Green Woodpeckers. Not so much on the WP front but I am really happy with the photos I did get and used all the tips I learned from Iain Green @naturebygreen

It started to rain heavily so we drove to Holland Park where I not only got great wildlife shots but also took some sneaky photos of a fashion shoot int he Kyoto garden. After this we went round Portobello market and took more pics.

Then off to Belgravia and finally went in Pierre Herme to buy Macaroons which were delicious and Yuki was lovely and gave me a free chocolate http://www.pierreherme.com

Now, I am relaxing and watching the office @theofficenbc while Steve cooks a roast. Happy days

Comic Relief

I am so excited about my beaky big bird costume. I am wearing it all day next Friday to raise awareness for Comic Relief. I am starting the day at 9am in RBS Great Tower Street and am hoping to visit every branch in the central London area to take photos of their fundraising activities for our newsletter.

RBS is really passionate about volunteering and charity work. Not only do they subscribe to payroll giving (for every £1 I give to charity they give £2),  they also will give up to £500 per year if you regularly volunteer or raise money for an individual sponsorship event e.g. 10k run for Macmillan).

Comic Relief is such a good charity because they help people in Africa and the UK. I went to see two of the panel shows David Walliams took part in on the weekend and the VTs they showed of how the money is spent were moving but also inspiring. Please give money to this awesome charity and I am happy to say we received the giro slips today in our branch so you can now give through RBS!

Sunday 6th March

For a relaxing Sunday I have been my usual busy self. Got up at four to watch the last few hours of David Walliams 24 hour panel people. Finished my latest cross stitch project. Then I cut down a load of ivy in the garden and cleaned the composter. I didn't realise how big my garden was/is as the Ivy had become crazy and was starting to take over everything. Had a roast then tried to watch Shutter Island but could not keep my eyes open. Went to town to buy pancake supplies for Tuesday. Yummy
